Ring of Kerry – Best Value Golf Clubs In Kerry
Designed by Eddie Hackett, who has been proclaimed by many as the “Father of Golf Course Design” in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry Golf Club is situated 6km from the picturesque town of Kenmare. The scenic and friendly Ring of Kerry Golf Club is among the best value golf clubs in the South West Region with green fees varying from €30 to €60 per person.
For this course Hackett’s architectural brief was to design a golf course that was world class and that would challenge skilled and practiced golfers from the back tees yet also be an enjoyable playing experience for the average golfer from the middle and forward tees. The scenery surrounding Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club is stunning, with the beautiful Caha mountains as a backdrop and the panoramic views over the spectacular Kenmare Bay you may find it hard to concentrate on the game in hand!

Sir Ian Botham, Sky Sports Commentator and former England Cricket Captain” type=”speech”]The Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club is one of my favourite courses in Ireland with its stunning views, challenging layout and great hospitality.

If you are in the area and love golf, you will find Ring of Kerry Golf Club to be one of the most beautiful courses and best value golf clubs in the world. The combination of mountains, water and green is simply incredible. I am in my mid 60’s, have played golf in many places, and think this is one of top 10. Played with local folks (I’m from Minnesota in the US). Could not have been friendlier, although they were better golfers. Also, I did not have an intro from a US club. Didn’t matter. The fairways are wide and many greens medium-large. There are some challenging holes, but Ring of Kerry Golf Club is NOT the most difficult course I’ve ever played by far. But it is one of the most beautiful. For example, I’d say this is consistently because of the constant mountain and water view, more beautiful than Pebble Beach (another great course, about half of the holes are not nearly as scenic as the ones featured on TV – or virtually all of those at Ring of Kerry Golf Club.
